Pax-Edwards, LLC ("Pax-Edwards") and Buckeye Development, LLC ("Buckeye") are pleased to present Sharpe Square, a proposed 86-unit age-restricted housing project located in the City of Frederick, Maryland.
Sharpe Square is located in downtown Frederick, Maryland in the midst of numerous retailers, service establishments, public transportation, and the hospital. The site is located in a Qualified Census Tract number 7508.01, a Communities of Opportunity, and a Priority Funding Area.
The Sharpe Square project consists of a single four-story U-shaped elevator-served building with 9,987 square feet of retail space on the street side of the first floor. The spacious community room with a kitchenette, leasing/management offices, a lounge with a fireplace, an exercise room, and a visiting doctor's office are also located on the first floor. The area created in the open space between the wings of the U-shaped building will be a courtyard featuring a meditation garden, sitting areas, and a sidewalk leading to Motter Avenue.
Once complete, Sharpe Square will be managed by Severn Management, an experienced property management company with over 3,000 units under management. In addition to traditional property management activities, Severn Management will also be the Resident Services Coordinator and implement the Resident Services Plan included with this application.
